"I Considered Smiling" is a night of seven ten minute plays. The name of the evening describes the feeling the show might have. They are situations that we would enjoy seeing or may find humorous even though we think that they shouldn't be. Can we smile at terror, destruction, depression, loss, forbidden love, zeal, disappointment, or salvation? Does it really matter if it made us think a little? As a member of the audience, you'll be surrounded by different worlds and times. Worlds and times that allow you freely to smile or not smile.
Theodore W. Jackson is a local playwright and actor. He graduated from UNM in 2008 with a degree in theater. His past shows that have been produced at UNM include "Looking for Nihil, Thou Art Villain, and Panic on Central (a co written production)" He was most recently seen in the "Live 4 Art" festival at Auxiliary Dog Theater. In the spring of 2010 he hopes to be putting his first full length play "The Hero, The Sidekick? The villain"
